Discover how the Lockit Socket spark plug socket simplifies spark plug service by eliminating a little nuisance that's been around forever: the rubber socket insert. These inserts grip too tightly when new, won't hold a spark plug when they're worn or oily, and take up space, making the socket diameter larger. Many technicians mistakenly think the rubber insert cushions the spark plug. In reality, because the rubber insert holds the spark plug by gripping the porcelain, insulator breakage can result when this type of socket is forced sideways. With some of the spark plugs for newer vehicles costing upwards of $30.00, breakage is just not acceptable.
Worn Rubber Inserts Lead to Dropped Spark Plugs!
Impact from dropping a spark plug due to a worn out insert can bend and weaken the electrode. Depending on where it lands, the plug can become contaminated from grease, oil or coolant. In fifteen years as a mobile tool distributor, the Lockit Socket spark plug socket generated more favorable customer comments than any other single tool I can think of. Automotive, marine, and motorcycle technicians love the way these sockets make their jobs easier.
Here are some typical responses:

Dear Gary, As a Technical Service Engineer with Champion Spark Plug for forty years, I changed a lot of spark plugs. By far, the best spark plug socket design that I ever used was the one now made by Lockit Socket. The additional designs that you have introduced make it an even better buy than before and that is hard to do. I totally endorse your product and I hope that technicians will give them a try. Unless they leave them under the hood or loan them to another technician, this will be the last spark plug socket they will ever purchase. Best of success to you and your company.
Sincerely, Ken Friedman Automotive Electronics Services

You'll save time and effort thanks to the positive grip and easy release made possible by the patented Lockit Socket spring clip retention design.
Spark plug insulator damage is a thing of the past due to the thin outside profile and added roominess inside the Lockit Socket.
The aggravation you may have experienced when your oil slick hands couldn't retrieve a spark plug socket will be a thing of the past. The superb grip of the ‘gnarly gnurl' will be a pleasant surprise!
Some of today's high performance Iridium spark plugs cost upwards of $30.00 each. Preventing damage to just one of these spark plugs pays for most of the $44.95 price of the most expensive Lockit Socket. For technicians working at current shop rates (usually $80.00 and up), saving less than ½ hour over time repays the purchase price. The convenience is an added bonus!
The Lockit Socket spark plug socket has a lifetime unconditional guarantee against any defects or breakage. While damage to the replaceable spring clip is very rare, a spare spring clip is included with the purchase of each tool, just in case.
Try Lockit Socket tools for 90 days, and if you're not entirely satisfied, return them for a full refund. We're confident that once you've used these tools, you'll never give them up!
Newer Ford 5.4 liter engines have deep spark plug tubes with unique 9/16" plugs. Our new 9/16" Lockit Socket is the perfect tool for servicing these vehicles. The 5/8" external hex and long length allow for use with a ratcheting box wrench. This is especially helpful under the overhanging cowl found on Ford trucks. Since no extension is necessary, there is less flex when installing new plugs, which minimizes the chance of cross threading. The reduced diameter through the middle of the tool improves access into the spark plug tubes. Size: 9/16" Overall length 6".
The answer for all 18mm motorcycle spark plugs, even the hard to reach ones like the 400 Honda. Ultra thin wall socket is a great tool for both on and off road bikes. The short length and small outside diameter work well with a variety of 3/8" extensions and swivels. Applications include many Honda outboards and many other motors with 18mm hex spark plugs including the S-14 BMW. Size: 18mm 2.5" overall length.
This new socket for motorcycle spark plugs has the same thin dimensions as our short 18mm tool with the addition of a 17mm external hex for use with a box or open end wrench. A great tool to take along for road or trailside spark plug service. Outside dimensions are as thin as possible for ease of access in tight quarters. External 17mm hex makes access to spark plugs easier on motorcycles or quads with tight clearance. Overall length: 4 1/2"
Extra length on this socket improves access on engines with heat shields and reduced clearance. This is a great tool for Honda small engines and motorcycles with 13/16" spark plugs, and general 13/16" applications. 5/8" hex on the 3/8" drive end of the tool facilitates use of fixed or flex head ratcheting box wrench when convenient. Not recommended for air cooled VW and Porsche applications. 3 1/4" overall length.
A favorite for spark plug service on air cooled Volkswagen and Porsche motors. This socket also works well for performance applications that use large hex plugs such as the Gold Champions and the Autolite AR32. Fits all 13/16" hex spark plugs. 2 1/2" overall length.
If you are looking for an extremely thin wall 5/8" spark plug socket, here's the answer! These tools are .050 thinner than any of our previous 5/8" sockets, which have a reputation for being pretty skinny. Whether it's a Twin-Plug Chrysler Hemi, a Ducati motorcycle, or some other close tolerance application, this socket will fit! Includes 5/8" external hex for use with a combination or ratcheting box wrench. This socket fits all applications using a 5/8" spark plug. 2 3/8" overall length.
There are still a few folks around using the 11/16" Screamin' Eagle high performance spark plugs. The Lockit Socket designed for these plugs has an external hex for use with a box or open end wrench which improves access when a ratchet takes up too much room. This socket is also an excellent Harley Davidson Big Twin clutch adjustment tool. Overall length: 2-3/8".
This Lockit Socket is designed for use on all equipment utilizing 3/4" hex spark plugs, including Husqvarna and Stihl chain saws and power equipment. Slim outside diameter fits in tight spots and the "Gnarly Knurl" makes these tools easy to use with oily fingers. Overall length: 2-1/2"
